Fall Bucket List

It is almost fall y’all!! I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love the fall time, give me all the pumpkin everything! There are so many fun activities to do in the fall time, and I always feel like I miss out on at least one of the things I wanted to do! So I created this fall bucket list and wanted to share it with you all. Here are 28 fall bucket list ideas, all COVID safe too!

28 Fall Bucket List Ideas

1. Drink Apple Cider

Apple cider is an essential fall bucket list item! It always tastes so good, and you can drink it hot, cold, or with alcohol!

2. Visit a Pumpkin Patch

Can you think of anything more fall-y than visiting a pumpkin patch?! Visit your local pumpkin patch and pick up a few pumpkins (and also take a million and one cute photos there!)

3. Watch Football

It is officially football season y’all!! What better way to spend a Saturday or Sunday than watching a football game. You could even invite a few friends over and tailgate at home because tailgate food = the best food.

4. Have a Movie Night

There is something about fall that makes you want to cuddle up in front of the TV with a big cup of hot cocoa and marshmallows! Find some fun fall movies to watch and have yourself a movie night. I also recommend Harry Potter, I don’t know why but it just screams fall to me!

5. Burn Fall Candles

Fall candles honestly smell the BEST! Home Goods has so many amazing fall candles, their Scentsational brand smells uh-mazing. I especially love the white pumpkin scent.

6. Decorate For Fall

Decorating for fall is honestly almost as much fun as Christmas decorating! There are so many fun things you can do and ways you can really make your entire home feel like fall.

7. Bake a Pie

Who doesn’t love pie? Fall is the perfect time to make pie, and I am sure it was already on your fall bucket list! This goes perfectly with fall bucket list item #8.

8. Go Apple Picking

Apple picking is so much fun! You could use the apples you pick to make a pie, make caramel apples, or apple pie.

9. Carve Pumpkins

Carving pumpkins is such a fun fall/halloween activity. Have some fun carving pumpkins and then add them to your fall decor.

10. Have a Campfire and Roast Marshmallows

Having a campfire, roasting marshmallows, and making s’mores is so much fun! It is the perfect activity to do with friends or family, or even makes for a cute date night with your significant other!

11. Take Fun Fall Photos

It might sound super basic, but take some fun fall photos, you know you want to! Fall fashion is so much fun, and the pumpkin patch or a fall festival are just some of the places you could take some fun, fall pics!

12. Bake a Pumpkin Treat

There are literally THOUSANDS of fun pumpkin recipes you can make. I am so excited to make pumpkin bread and muffins, and I will definitely be checking out Pinterest for some other fun pumpkin foods!

13. Watch Halloween Movies

There are so many good Halloween movies! Have a movie night with friends and watch all your faves. Freeform always has their 31 Nights of Halloween, you can see this year’s schedule here!

14. Roast Pumpkin Seeds

Roasted pumpkin seeds are delish, and this is the perfect use for the seeds leftover from carving your pumpkins!

There is nothing better than coming home to warm chilli on a cool fall evening. You can cook it in the crockpot and come home to a nice, warm meal. Here is my personal favorite chilli recipe.

16. Jump In a Pile of Leaves

Let out your inner child and jump in a pile of leaves! The sound of leaves crunching is so satisfying.

This should be on everyone’s fall bucket list! The scenery during fall is so beautiful, so take a scenic drive where you can see some beautiful fall leaves.

This is #1 on my fall bucket list. Trader Joe’s has the BEST fall food. Maple butter, pumpkin butter, pumpkin bagels, and pumpkin bread mix just to name a few.

19. Host a Friendsgiving (or go to one!)

Show your friends how thankful you are for them and host a fun Friendsgiving! Have everyone bring their favorite Thanksgiving food and have yourselves a feast.

I am not sure how many fall festivals are running this year, but if you can go to one make sure you do! They are so much fun and always have the best snacks.
